BillStat is intended for receipts with QR codes in Montenegro. It is not designed for POS card slips or payment documents.

FAQ

  • What receipts are supported? Receipts with QR codes (the “official” QR printed on the receipt).
  • What is not supported? POS card slips, payment slips, or documents containing bank card details. Please do not scan such documents.
  • Where does receipt data come from? After you confirm saving, BillStat retrieves receipt details via an official service (when available) and shows them in the app.
  • What does “open the receipt page” mean? The QR code includes a link to an official receipt verification page. BillStat can open it from receipt details.
  • Do you use analytics? Not at the moment.

Troubleshooting

  • Camera permission: Android/iOS Settings → Privacy → Camera → allow BillStat.
  • QR not recognized: improve lighting, hold steady, try a different distance, clean the camera lens.
  • Details not loading: the government service may be temporarily unavailable. Try again later.
  • Export/share issues: ensure you have storage permission and enough free space.

Data deletion requests

You can delete your account directly in the app: open the Profile tab and tap Delete Account. Your account and all stored receipts will be permanently removed within 30 days.

If you no longer have access to the app, email support@billstat.app from the Google account you used to sign in and we will process the request.
